The role of Congregation Representative is one of leadership and discernment. Nominated and elected by the congregation, it is the responsibility of these people to decide on matters concerning the current and future direction of The Gap Uniting Church. Each representative brings their own personal experience and view to the Church Council to provide a broad scope of knowledge and ideas on all matters dealt with.
Congregational Representatives are elected each year in November for a period of 2 – 5 years by majority vote by the congregation.
